The 1st Chola Chess Open gets serious this week. Round 4 hits the board Monday in Chennai with Indian GMs Aravindh, Pranesh, and Karthikeyan still mixing it up against Mendonca. The nine-round Swiss format gives everyone a realistic shot at the title, but the pace quickens now. Ninety minutes for 40 moves separates pretenders from contenders. Lichess streams it live.
